Post 6: How to link art studies with our personal life

Of all the posts, this is the one that makes me more difficult to start, i think this is a complex topic, and i think i had never before thought about how to link the art studies in your personal life because somehow, all my life i’ve spent studying music, maybe not the way I’ve been since i entered to the university, but at least piano lessons and musical theory since i was 6. So it’s hard for me to see both things as something different and then explain how they come together. I guess the study of the arts makes certain aspects of life values than others who study other areas. I feel that we may have more sensitivity to emotions and we may be able to express them in other ways than verbal, which I find quite useful because we are all different and verbalizing emotions may not be the most comfortable for certain people, at least personally i do not have difficulty expressing myself verbally, but i can accompany this with some musical expression and i feel that everything is better und...

Post 5: My future job

Regarding my future work, i would like to give music lessons, hopefully to different types of people and spaces, children, adults, in workshops, assemblies, etc. Mainly i would like to be able to generate projects in which i can give free music lessons to people who can’t pay for them, because i believe that people with less economic resources should not have less opportunities in life. At this time, to achieve that goal, i am studying music theory, i go in my second year, i hope in the future to do some post grade, first to learn more, but also because the more studies you have, more are your job opportunities and for my future work projects, i will need the monetary contribution that these additional titles can give me. I would like to travel to many parts of Chile giving classes, i would like to contribute to the cultural development of people not only from Santiago, but from other regions and also learn from the culture of these. In addition to this, i would also like to travel to ...

Post 4: My pet

Imagen
My pet is a little  dog named Nano but we usually call it "Cochayuyo" for its brown color. We found it thanks to an Instagram post where he said that in La Pintana they had found a puppy abandoned in the street. We decided to adopt it because, after the death of our previous pet, Niña, we felt that we needed a dog company again. Nano is a is a medium-sized small brown dog, but really brown, its eyes, its nose, its hair, except for a white stain on his chest, it’s like a tie hahaha. It has 8 months old, it´s a puppy yet, so you can imagine how restless it is, it bites EVERYTHING, especially sticks from the plants in my yard. this dog took a lot of importance for me because it came to my home in the middle of the pandemic and has made me a lot of fun company during the lock down, it’s very sweet and i feel like it knows when i’m sad or happy and gives me special support depending on my mood .                ...

Post 3: Quarantine Hobbies

This may seem a little sad, but the i don’t care much anymore, at first it caused me a little guilt, but fortunately it is no longer so. The truth is that during the quarantine I didn’t develop any specific hobbies or learn to do anything new. During the months i was completely locked up i had a pretty bad time for a lot of reasons, so I didn’t feel like doing a lot of things. Clearly not everything was black, spending more time at home at the beginning was fun,  but i did not feel in the mood to do something special, i dedicated myself to my duties such as studies, homework, etc. I do not want to say that I spent the quarantine without doing anything else, I have always liked to draw, paint and play instruments, I dedicated myself to that also in the confinement, but I do not consider that i have spent more time than usual in those activities and they are not something new from me. If there’s one good thing that came out of quarantine was getting my mom and my sister to leave the m...

Post N°2 The best concert ever

Throughout my life I have gone to many concerts, i really like to do it, i have had the opportunity to go to many very good concerts for free, as i have also paid ridiculous amounts of money in tickets to listen to an artist that i really like (i’m not proud but I don’t regret anything haha), but by far the best concert i’ve ever attended was the "Queen" concert. Queen is an english band formed in 1970 by Freddie Mercury, John Deacon, Brian May and Roger Taylor. Currently the band no longer contains the same members. The iconic vocalist of the band, Freddie Mercury died in 1991. The band also does not have their original bassist John Deacon, the reasons why he did not want to return to the stage with his companions after the death of Mercury are unknown. who’s in charge of lead vocals now is lead vocalist Adam Lambert. Clearly there are a lot of people who think it is not up to the great Freddie Mercury, personally i also think it is not better than Mercury, but the band soun...

POST 1 >> A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT

Imagen
Fortunately for me, i have been able to visit several countries on my wish list, however there is a country to which i have not yet been able to travel, Japan. I find it a very interesting country in many aspects, i think there are many reasons why a person would want to visit Japan, for their spiritual side,  technology, the culture of anime and manga, thir country history, art and so many other aspects. Personally i would like to visit this country to know its technological advances, part of its ancient history linked to samurai warriors, Japanese botany and clearly tourist places like temples and things like that. I don’t know much about Japanese culture besides what I mentioned above, that’s why i would like to travel there, because with the little I know, I already feel motivated. If I traveled there, i would like to stay several months touring, if I manage to adapt a little to the Japanese culture and their way of living, maybe I would study something linked to the arts there...
